CHURCH COMMUNITY

GROUPS AT
ST PETER'S

Bell Ringers

St Peter’s has 8 bells, rung every Sunday at 9:45am and on Friday practice nights from 7:30–9pm (usually followed by a trip to the pub!).

Our ringers range from teens to 70+; anyone can learn to ring.

We’re a friendly, sociable group and enjoy events like our annual quiz (we’re 8-time champions!), barbecues, and ringing trips around the country.

New faces are always welcome — come and join us!

Little Fishes Toddler Group

Little Fishes Toddler Group is a warm, welcoming space to meet other parents, grandparents, and carers, and let the little ones play.

We meet every Monday in term time, 10am–12noon at Burley Hall (CH3 7QN), for babies up to preschoolers.

Just come along — we’d love to see you!

Sunday Club

Sunday Club is for children aged 3–10, helping them grow in faith and feel at home in church. We introduce them to Bible stories, worship songs, and good church habits in a fun and supportive way.

Lorraine Booth leads the team, supported by DBS-checked helpers. Please pray for everyone involved as they guide the children on their journey with God. Sunday Club starts at 10am on 2nd, 3rd and 5th Sundays.

If you’d like to help with Sunday Club, please speak to Jules, the Rector.

Church Choir

St Peter’s has an informal, unrobed choir at the 10:15 am Sunday service – just turn up and join in!

For special occasions, we also put together a larger choir. If you’d like to take part, we would love to welcome you.
