For the last 25 years, St. Peter’s Mothers’ Union has been sending

Baptism Anniversary Cards to those children baptised at St. Peter’s.

These cards are sent out for five years following baptism and Jenny

Whittingham has been doing this on behalf of the Mothers’ Union.

Jenny has now decided to lay down this task and we wish to express

our gratitude and appreciation for Jenny’s commitment over the years.

“Thank you, Jenny.”

 

The Mothers’ Union is to continue with these cards and is considering

how to use the opportunity to help build and strengthen contact

between the Church and young families in the community.

 

On Thursday 17th. June, the Malpas Deanery Festival will be held at

St. Peter’s Church, at 2-00 p.m. The preacher will be the M.U. chaplain

Revd. Michael Burgess. The service will be followed by afternoon tea in

the Burley Hall, where there will also be a ‘Bring and Buy’ stall.

Proceeds from the Festival will be forwarded to the M.U. “Away From

It All” holiday fund.

                  Avenue, 10-00 a.m. to 1-00 p.m.
