Bible Studies

From time to time, the Rector hosts a series of evenings looking at a book of the Bible to discover the message of the book and its relevance for our lives today. This term we are studying Paul’s Letter to the Romans – a very important book of the Bible that explains how God deals with sin and makes us right with God (and how this motivates us to partnership in the Gospel and unity within the church). So a letter for our times! These studies will be in conjunction with the Sunday sermon series in Romans so that we can get the very most out of this amazing letter. Wednesday evenings (7.30pm) at the Rectory starting on Wed 18th Sept. I hope you can join us.

Recently we have studied Paul’s Letter to the Galatians and the Epistle to the Hebrews.

Bible Overview

The Bible is a big book and it can be easy to lose sight of the big picture.
But to get a balanced view it is important to see how it all fits together.
The Bible Overview is run at least once a year and is designed to help us
understand the whole message of the Bible, not just small parts in the
New Testament.

In 6-8 weeks it is possible to see the story-line, and how the story of God’s
plan of salvation unfolds from Genesis to Revelation.
